Thermal plates systems are essential for probing and characterization as well as everyday laboratory benchtop experiments. INSTEC incorporates its many decades of thermal control expertise into its industry-leading thermal plates. Plates are built with 20mm to 300mm square standard sampling areas (custom to 600mm or beyond). Thermal control from -190ºC to 600ºC (custom up to 1500ºC) is accompanied ±0.1ºC temperature uniformity and stability. Plates are ideally suited for AFM and other scanning probe techniques. Plates can be built with optional covers to convert them to sealed chambers with defrosting, gas purging, or vacuum capability.
